Biking For Infinity

On Saturday 7 June during the Pinkster weekend, two bicycle tours took place. A short recreational biking tour to Eelde and a long biking tour meant for experienced cyclers through beautiful Drenthe. Both tours were linked to the three For Infinity expositions in the Der Aa-kerk, the University Museum and in the Groninger Museum.

Cycling tour through Drenthe

Cycling tour for experienced cyclists of approximately 150 kilometers, through the breathtaking landscape of Drenthe, with a lunch on the way and a drink upon return. In addition to this, participants received a nice 'For Infinity' biking shirt.

Recreational tour: Kid's Day airport Eelde & Nijsinghhuis Art Visit

The starting point of this recreational biking tour was at the University Museum. Participants cycled in their own time to Eelde. Scientific (childrens) activities were organized at the airport there. A visit to the Nijsinghhuis from the Museum de Buitenplaats in Eelde was also an option. There were paintings to admire from Matthijs Röling, who painted the 'boom der kennis' (tree of knowledge) in the Aula of the Academy Building.
